My professional journey began in software testing, where I developed a keen understanding of system behavior and resilience. This foundation fueled a deeper curiosity that led me to data. My path truly began in 2008 in Sweden, while pursuing my Master’s at Blekinge Institute of Technology. There, I discovered Tableau 6.0 and realized that data wasn’t just numbers, but a powerful medium for storytelling. That discovery became the seed of my entire career.

Since then, I’ve built a career around building and scaling data and BI foundations. I’ve worked as a BI consultant and architect, managing large-scale Tableau deployments, including a 13-node server in Poland, which was one of the largest in Europe at the time. My experience extends to BI tools like Power BI, which I’ve worked with for over 15 years, maintaining both on-premise and cloud infrastructure. This journey also bridged the gap between business intelligence and cloud infrastructure; at Juniper Networks, I was instrumental in migrating an analytics stack to AWS, which expanded my focus to managing infrastructure as a product.

Beyond the technical, I’ve been a strong advocate for enablement and leadership. I established a Business Intelligence Center of Excellence, mentored analysts, and fostered a self-service analytics culture. A certified Tableau expert, I’ve trained hundreds of individuals in both India and the US. My passion for community and leadership led me to found “Data, Chai, and Dialogue,” a platform for discussions on leadership, growth, and life transitions, all with a warm cup of chai in hand. I am also an accomplished author and a contributor to publications like The CI/CD Guild and VizMasters, where I share real-world insights on productivity, data, and engineering.

Today, as an Engineering Manager, I focus on building systems that last, enabling teams that scale, and solving problems that matter, guided by the belief that people are always at the center. I’ve learned that true growth comes not from titles, but from transformation, driven by curiosity and a willingness to evolve.
