Contest Terms


  1. The contest and campaign promoter is Starburst Data (hereinafter referred to as Starburst), whose registered office is 177 Huntington Ave Ste 1703 PMB 82089 Boston, Massachusetts 02115-3153 US. 
  2. The contests are considered international and are open to individuals, regardless of their residence. In certain circumstances, Starburst may target campaigns at specific geographic regions. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over, and employees of Starburst are prohibited from entering. 
  3. By entering a contest hosted by Starburst or engaging with a Starburst social media campaign, participants agree to terms outlined the Starburst Privacy Policy.
  4. By entering a Starburst contest, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. Starburst reserves the right to host and promote contests on social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Instagram. Starburst’s use of social media platforms to host Starburst contests does not indicate sponsorship, endorsement or administration of the contest by these platforms. 
  6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. 
  7. Starburst will clearly indicate a closing date for contest entry at time of posting. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received by Starburst, for any reason.
  9. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the duration of the contest or social media campaign. 
  10. All potential winners will be notified using the social media platform they entered the contest on. A response to Starburst is required within 48 hours. The potential winner must follow the initial prize claim instructions and any subsequent claim instructions, or the prize will be forfeited and a new winner selected by Starburst. 
  11. Failure by the potential winner to respond within 48 hours of notification will result in disqualification and Starburst will select an alternate winner.
  12. Unless prohibited by law, entrants consent to any personal information provided in entering the contest or campaign to be used by Starburst for the purposes of administering the contest. 
  13.  Starburst reserves the right to cancel or amend all contests, campaigns, competitions and these terms and conditions without notice.
  14. Winners will be chosen by Starburst via random draw.
  15. The winner’s name, profile photo and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of Starburst after the winner has been selected. By entering the contest or engaging with the social media campaign, winners consent to this personal data being shared by Starburst. 
  16. Starburst reserves the right to substitute original prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so. The decision of Starburst regarding any aspect of the prize is final and binding.
  17. Starburst does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in a contest or being selected for a prize. Starburst makes no promises, representations or warranties about the prize or its outcome and shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, exemplary or direct damages of any kind in relation to the contest and participation therein, regardless of the basis of the claim or whether Starburst is negligent or is aware of the possibility of such damages.
