Starburst Enterprise platform (SEP) 394-e STS has been released as a follow-up to the 393-e LTS release.

The release is based on Trino 394, which includes the following noteworthy changes:

  • JSON output format for EXPLAIN.
  • Improved performance for LIKE expressions.
  • Query table function support in the BigQuery connector.
  • INSERT support in the BigQuery connector.
  • TLS support in the Pinot connector.

SEP highlights:

  • Add support for running multiple queries in a single Query editor tab.
  • Improve the query editor’s prettify tool to support Trino SQL syntax.
