Starburst Enterprise platform (SEP) 399-e STS has been released as a follow-up to the 398-e STS release.

The release is based on Trino 399, which includes the following noteworthy changes:

  • Faster joins.
  • Faster reads of decimal values in Parquet data.
  • Support for writing array, row, and timestamp columns in BigQuery.
  • Support for predicate pushdown involving datetime types in MongoDB.

In SEP, we’ve added a new access logging feature to the built-in access control audit log, which gives admins more insights into how the cluster is being used.

For more information, refer to the release notes for 399-e.
