What is Data Mesh? Join Starburst at booth 205 for an introduction into this modern approach to managing analytics at scale. Data Mesh embraces decentralisation over-centralisation, meaning it allows companies to become more efficient in accessing and exploiting data as a core architectural approach.
A Data Mesh transformation offers new challenges to data leaders. The sheer volume of data sources, the demand for analytics speed, and the evolving digital business landscape. New tools, new challenges.
Join us to walk through the 90 day data mesh pathfinder. A Pathfinder is the first step in any transformation program. It provides us an opportunity to learn fast, fail small and to deliver the quick wins that are necessary to build confidence in our Data Mesh vision.
Exclusively for those that pre-register (using the form above), we will be welcoming VIPs to collect their free (worth £40) hardback copy of Zhamak Deghani’s ‘Data Mesh: Delivering Data-Driven Value at Scale’ book. We will also be giving away £15 Starbuck gift cards so you can grab a coffee in the O2 Arena and start turning those pages!
Data Mesh aims to prescribe that the ownership of data products should live in business domains, ensuring that data is treated as a first-class product across the organisation. This is a drastic strategic shift, wherein data is no longer treated as a by-product of activities in which the business engages, but as a key value-driver that should direct business decisions. Learn how to deliver data as a product to empower business domains to become truly data-driven while freeing data teams from costly, time-intensive data management tasks.
