What is it?

• Space Quest League is a gamified sweepstakes competition for data professionals. While the competition runs all year, there are four distinct sweepstakes, also known as Missions. 
  • The winner for the first sweepstakes was announced on April 1st, winning the Luxury Galactic Disney® Experience (Valued at $35,000)
  • The winner of the second sweepstakes has been announced.
  • The winner of the third sweepstakes will be announced on October 1st.

What is the grand prize for Mission 3?

• The grand prize for Mission 3 is $30,000 in cash!

What is the “Do well, and do good” component? 

• This sweepstakes includes a charitable component so we remind ourselves of the importance of giving back. Throughout the year, Starburst will donate $1  for every valid contestant up to $100,000. Even better, the valid contestants get to vote on the winning charity from a list Starburst provides. Instead of live long and prosper, the idea for this campaign is “do well, and do good.”

Are partners eligible for the competition?

• Yes, partners are eligible for the competition! 
• This competition is for data professionals. Anyone who spends their time focused on data engineering or data analytics is welcome to participate. 

How does this competition work?

• Entering and qualifying involves (1) acknowledging our official rules, (2) filling out the entry form, (3) being validated by SweepWidget as a human and (4) being validated by Starburst that you’re a data pro.
